This form is not for ordering repair service
But repair ordering is simple and easy! How it work? Here 7 simple steps. 1. You contact me using Contact form
2. I email you an address for sending camera. 3. You send a parcel to my address in Slovakia 4. I receive a parcel and do repair (within 7-12 days usually) 5. You pay for repair and sending back. 6. I send parcel to your address. 7. You receive parcel with your restored camera. Voila! What about turnaround time for repair?
I do work within one-two week or so.
Some explanation about repair cost. All prices for the CLA service are fixed. It mean you pay fixed price, and total for repair never exceed this price. It mean you will never get bad surprice like "ahh, camera is very bad inside and I need more money for my hard work". If camera had a hidden problem - it's my problem now. You pay fixed price for getting working camera back.
There is only one exception - if your camera have a missing exterior parts. Putting new parts for FSU cameras cost nothing, but some exterior parts for Contaxes and Leicas may cost additional money. Anyway, exterior parts are easy to see! You will see for what you pay.
What included into CLA? I completely disassemble camera for access to all parts. Springs of curtains or optical parts inside RF- all will be cleaned. Old grease will be removed, and I'll glue all should be glued. And after deep cleaning I'll assemble camera again. That is why price is fixed. No matter what is actual problem was, I'll fix all problems during assembling camera back. With proper adjusting and proper lubrication.
Of course, payment for sending camera back is additional and depend on postal price for sending to your country.

Yes, Slovakia is in the EU and European customers have no any customs problems.
I may accept repair orders for non-EU customers now, but such customers are responsible for the paying customs fee. yes, if you are ready to send one with the low declared value and pay the customs fee. If declared value is not so high (less than 40 euro, but not zero) local customs take the VAT 23% from the sum of declared value and shipping cost payed by sender (plus 2 euro as a transaction fee). I'll pay the fee on the my side and add to the total of your payment. (for example real parcel from USA: Declared value 25 USD, shipping of parcel from USA 68.40 USD. Sum is 93.4 USD. It's equal to 85 euro. VAT 23% is 19.50 euro. Plus 3 euro processing fee. Total payed for the customs clearing is 22.50 euro.) Customer from outside the EU is responsible for paying this fee. I pay it at post office and add it to the total after repairing camera.
Another info for US customers. The good service for sending camera to me is the Meest parcel service. You can find more info there https://us.meest.com/ Prices are reasonable (1.3 kg parcel from US to me cost $42) and parcel go through Poland and reach me without any problems and without customs fee. Looks like customs clearance in the Poland goes more smooth and processed by parcel service.
